Exhibition of the volunteers of O.E.NE.F. "ArchiTrace Florina"
Association of Active Youths of Florina, from the 3rd of June to the
3rd of August 2013, is running the (EVS) European Voluntary Program
"ArchiTrace Florina"- Youth in Action Programme 2 - Greek National Agency . During this program, three spiritual youngsters from
Europe (Poland and Italy), deployed their ideas on the architectural field and the protection of the rich
architectural heritage of the city of Florina.
Moreover young artists of our city created paintings, having
as their canvas the architectural drawings of the city’s historical buildings.
Inspiration for the team was Teo's Angelopoulos film "The Suspended
Step of the Stork." The great filmmaker created an interesting imaginative
city, orienting the river as "boundary". This piqued the interest of the
group while they worked on the wear of listed buildings and reformed proposals.
As part of this effort, we would like to invite you to the opening ceremony of
our exhibition at the Museum of
Contemporary Art of Florina, Sunday, July 28 at 8pm.
